Reportage photo : Collège confiné

A photo reportage by Marlen Pezzetta.

In March 2020, the Hannah Arendt promotion faced what some of us describe as the most difficult experience of the year. The Covid-19 crisis impacted all aspects of the students’ daily life, from an academic perspective as well as at personal level. These pictures are a very sample and limited attempt to document some of the changes that happened inside of the institution. Their consequences are left to the interpretation/imagination of the reader.

During the pandemic crisis, 40% of the students left the College to spend the confinement outside the campus. Take-away food, classes and exams became the new routine whilst cancellation of events, flights and job offers slowed down the usual steady pace. As the year is reaching its end, students prepare to exit the bubble and go back to a normal life. What will be the take-away for the different stakeholders?
